A couple of BIG updates for you! 1) AFBL Brackets are BELOW. Please call 612.790.4700 for any kind of rain out information. Adjusted Tournament Rules: A) 1:45 minute Time Limit B) Players start with an 0-0 count C) If games, get pushed back, we'll shorten games to 4-innings and/or adjust on the fly. It is suppose to be cold, but the weather looks like it is going to be playable. D) Understandably, there are going to be players who are not going to be able to play on Friday. Please check with your players tonight and tomorrow and figure out their availability. If you are players short, our staff will find you players from our teams. You need to let us know before Wednesday. 2) PRACTICE - 10u-13u on SATURDAY Field 7 - 10u/11u - 11:00am-12:30pm Field 8 - 12u/12uE - 11:00am-12:30pm Field 6 - 13u Fall / 13u Elite - 11:00am-12:30pm (Coaches Note: You can either scrimmage or practice or both) 3) SKILLS COMPETITION: Skills Competition will start at 1pm on FIELD 6. Trophies will be awarded for age group winners for 1) Hitting Contest Winner 2) Road Runner Champ and 3) Golden Arm Winner At Field 6, the evaluators will go over the rules and direct you to your appropriate fields. . 4) Correction from last week on IOWA. Only Juniors/Seniors will be going down to Iowa Lakes CC for scrimmage/showcase on OCTOBER 17th - SATURDAY All Fall/Elite Players - If you are interested in going down to Iowa Lakes on October 17th for this event sponsored by Iowa Lakes CC and MN BB Academy, please send me an email letting me know that you are interested. MBA Staff will be running this event/game format. We'll be inviting surrounding colleges from Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota and Wisconsin to attend this event. Cost is $50. The drive is approximately 3 1/2 hours (Estherville, IA). We'll play games at 11am, 12:30n, 2pm and 3:30 depending on how many players we take down.
