Phoenix Recap – For the 15u Blizzard Blue this was a tale of two tournaments.

Game 1: The hot bats from that were present in Las Vegas made a showing for game 1 versus the Arizona Inferno.  The offense was able to put up 10 runs while Tyler Hanson and Anthony Mrosla combined to pitch a 4 inning no-hit shutout.  The game ended early due to the mercy rule.  Final Score – 9-0 Blizzard Blue

Game 2: Blizzard Blue vs. AZ Firebirds Gold

The Blue Squad got a taste of their own medicine in game #2 when they ran into a team with smoking hot bats.  Alex Call got the Loss going an 1 and 1/3 innings allowing 10 runs (5 earned).  TJ Galenti came in for 6 outs of relief allowing 1 run and Anthony Mrosla finished up the game on the mound allowing 0 runs over  1 and 2/3 innings.  The defense and the bats gave no help to the pitching staff in this game committing 3 errors and only scoring 3 runs on 4 hits.  Highlights at the plate for game two were Danny Sievers with a single, a stolen base and a SAC fly, Jon Hander with a triple and a run scored, and Dylan Dresel with an RBI single in the 2nd.  Final Score – 11-3 Firebirds
