Description: Our Kick-Off camp to cap off a great fall season of baseball! Minnesota Baseball Academy’s instructors will run through new hitting drills and create a plan for all the players involved complete with a mechanical breakdown sheet, take home assignments and drills for you!  We’ll be focusing on hitting with a few defensive drills.  T-Shirts provided !

Holiday Baseball Camp December 28^th & 29^th 10 – 13 9 – 12 $250 ($275 late registration)

LOCATION: Minnesota Baseball Academy – Burnsville

Description: Our Holiday Camp will feature Minnesota Twins legend Al Newman and Minnesota Baseball Academy’s pro staff.  Newmie and Co. will focus on fielding and hitting and will include proper swing technique, drills, station work, functional strength and footwork, games, live batting practice and one-on-one instruction.  T-shirts handed provided! This camp is a great way to close out the fall season and get ready for the upcoming winter training season at Minnesota Baseball Academy.

Christmas Elite Camp December 29^th, 30^th, 31^st 14 - 18 TBA $500 (no late registrations allowed)

LOCATION: Minnesota Baseball Academy – Rogers

Description: This year, Minnesota Baseball Academy will run its 2^nd Annual Elite Baseball Camp.  Services provided will include video analysis, full scouting reports, college consolations including guest speakers, professional players/instruction including MN Twins, professional scouting and evaluation reports by pro scouts, live hitting and pitching outings and more.

Included in this camp will be a two-night stay at the AmericInn hotel in Rogers, MN (directly across the street from MBA).  All meals are included.

All players will receive a MN Baseball Academy jersey and hat.

More details will be added as the camp comes up including exact times, but please mark your calendars.  We will be limiting this camp to 20 players.

LOCATION: Minnesota Baseball Academy – ROGERS

Description: Minnesota Baseball Academy will be using our Dartfish Slow Motion Video Analysis.  Each player’s will be recorded and put into our Dartfish software that allows each student to see their swing frame by frame.  Each player will receive an email of their swing along with comments and drills they can do at home for specific things they need to work on.  Shirts provided! 

President’s Day Camp February 14^th 10 – 13 1 – 4 $100 ($125 late registration)

Description: This camp will be similar to our MLK Camp but players’ swings will be analyzed at the camp at separate stations.  This camp will be 100% hitting and feature several professional players (TBA)  Shirts provided and prizes awarded!

Description: This camp is Minnesota Baseball Academy’s busiest and most popular camp. Al Newman, Minnesota Twins great and World Series Champ in 87’ and 91’ will be the feature instructor. It’s a great camp to get ready for all the spring tryouts that are around the corner.  Our staff covers everything that players will encounter in a tryout: hitting (mechanics/contact/power), fielding (ready position/footwork/arm strength) running (proper forms and good jumps) Players that have attended this camp have seen great success at their tryouts. Minnesota Baseball Academy’s entire staff will be running this camp.  Shirts provided and prizes awarded!

Description: This is the second installment of our Prep Tryout Camp focusing on getting ready for spring tryouts. Our staff covers everything that players will encounter in a tryout: hitting (mechanics/contact/power), fielding (ready position/footwork/arm strength) running (proper forms and good jumps) Players that have attended this camp have seen great success at their tryouts. Minnesota Baseball Academy’s entire staff will be running this camp.  Shirts provided….expect a lot of pros at this one !

Description: The March Madness Camp is for those who missed the Tryout Prep Camp.  Many of the fundamentals that we cover in our March camps are focused on the upcoming season – especially this one.  We’ll focus mainly on hitting, fielding and throwing with our main focus being getting these players prepared for spring tryouts and practice.  Want to get a head start on the competition?  This is the camp for you!   Shirts provided and prizes awarded!

Frequently Asked Questions and Notes about our camps:

1. What should I bring to camp?
   1. Please bring baseball appropriate clothing.  Glove, hat, bat (if you have one), batting gloves (not required).  No spikes please

1. How and when do I make payment?
   1. You can make your payment either via check or credit card.  There will be a PayPal account (Dec. 1) that you will be able to use to make payments as well.  Payments and registrations need to be in one week before the camp to avoid late registration.  We need to get instructors set up as soon as possible for our camps and we like to be prepared in case we need to make an additional session due to the amount of players that sign up.

1. If you refer three additional players to the same camp you are attending, Minnesota Baseball Academy will take $10 off your registration fee.

1. Parents, you may get as involved as you want.  Please feel free to take notes, bring a video camera, follow your son (or daughter) around to each station so you can ask questions and learn what your kid is taking in from our instructors.

1. Coach to Instructor Ratio is very small.  Usually, the coach to student ratio is 4:1 and usually 3:1.

1. What is the playing ‘level’ of our camps? The younger age levels are relatively general and teach basic fundamentals along with the drills we use in all of our programs.  Fundamentals, drill work, home work assignments, mental approach are all things we teach at the younger level.  The older age groups are focused to the more advanced players where we work on the fundamentals and drill work, but we also teach approach, strategy and the mental side of the game as well.
