Rich Valley Sports Complex
...the fall home of the Blizzards

Rich Valley Athletic Complex is a premier, fully irrigated outdoor athletic facility consisting of varsity, JV and youth baseball fields - perfect for the Minnesota Blizzard's tryouts, AFBL season and weekly practices.

All Blizzard practices, Fall Blizzard and Blizzard Elite, will be held on Fields 5 - 9. Maintenance crews will be taking care of the fields each week for practices and games and their crew will be making the 'call' when and if the fields are not playable due to weather.

Blizzard Command Center

To help with communication during the fall season, we'll have a Blizzard Command Center onsite where players can look at the daily practice schedule, game schedule and field assignments. Parents will also be able to sign up a week beforehand if they would like to help with practice, concessions, keeping book, etc. You'll also be able to make payments, ask questions and look at weekly standings, updates and news.

We'll have some kind of concessions at the field where players will be able to get something to drink and eat throughout the day including a public address system with music (tba) !

Rainouts

If it looks like rain, the main Minnesota Baseball Academy line (612.790.4700) will have updates regarding postponements, cancellations and new game or practice times. If games are rained out, they'll be rescheduled and played the following Saturday. Check the website for updated schedules early the next week.

If the Junior/Senior showcase is rained out, the rescheduled date will be October 4th (the following day). The Skills Competition Day will be cancelled and games will be played on the 4th as scheduled.
