Minnesota Softball Academy is proud to present its new fast pitch softball program which will include personal instruction, team practices and camps beginning in the fall of 2006. Meggan Staton will be our lead instructor giving lessons seven days a week and running pitching and hitting clinics throughout the winter.
Staton was a three-time all-state fast pitch player from Anoka, MN. She pitched and played first base in college (South Dakota State University; St. Cloud State University) setting numerous records in her career.
Staton has coached at the youth levels and was the lead clinic instructor at Minnesota Sports Academy Inc. and Tonka Recreation Association. Meggan is a specialty coach in pitching, hitting, motivation, mental preparation and preparing athletes for college.
Other areas include: basic and advanced fielding, throwing and conditioning. Meggan plans, organizes and scripts specialty clinics.
A soon to be graduate of St. Cloud State University where she will be majoring in Recreation and Sports Management with a minor in Coaching and Marketing. She will soon be working towards a master’s degree in Sport Management.

Individual Instruction Rates
$75 / 1 hour lesson$40 / ½ hour lesson
Individual Discount
$60/ 1 hour lesson with a 20 lesson minimum$65/ 1 hour lesson with a 10 lesson minimum

Group Instruction Rates
(each session is 1 hour)
1 session - 3 students - $120 ($40/student/lesson)
1 session - 2 students - $100 ($50/student/lesson)
Team Practice Rates with Instructor
Need an experienced coach to run an organized and meaningful practice?Our instructors will run a prepared, efficient and a results-based session to maximize your efforts to get your players ready for the upcoming season. We can tailor a practice to meet all your needs whether it is hitting specific or a practice that covers all areas of softball. All sessions are 90 minutes.

Tryouts
Minnesota Softball Academy has the ability to hold tryouts and can provide a non-biased grade system for all your players. We evaluate hitting skills, hitting mechanics, arm strength, pitching mechanics, defensive abilities and base running.
